Week of January 9th

*Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center

Please join us in supporting the work of Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center through the Baby Bottle Boomerang. You can pick up a baby bottle this Sunday in the lobby and fill it with coins, currency, or both. Your generosity allows the organization to provide free services, comfort and the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this local mission field. Please return the bottles to the Connection Desk by February 5th or directly to HCPCC after the 5th.

*Foster/Adopt Informational Meeting

The call to care for the widow and orphan was repeated to the church in the New Testament (James 1:27). Not everyone is called to adopt, but there are many other ways to care for children. You are invited to this Foster/Adopt informational meeting on Sunday, January 22nd from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel to explore how you can get involved. There will be lunch and childcare provided. To register, please email Samantha Knollhoff at sknollhoff@gvtc.com or for more information contact Samantha at 830-537-3858.

*Go to Nepal with ServLife This Summer

Calling all teachers! ServLife, a Currey Creek mission partner, is once again taking a team of teachers to rural west Nepal to train teachers from a dozen schools in that region. Tim Kurth, Assistant Director at ServLife leads the trip. He’s looking for teachers with experience across all age levels from preschool through high school. The trip runs from July 12-23rd and there are only twelve spots on the team. Registration closes January 31st. A fee of $100 holds your spot and the total trip cost is $3,300 including all travel, meals, lodging, insurance, and more. ServLife assists with fundraising. You’re invited to pray about this and see if God is calling you to Nepal this summer. Find more information at ServLife.org/teacher-training-trip/, call Tim at (630) 956-4575 or email him at tim@servlife.org. Scholarships are available from Currey Creek. *Creek Kids

What a joy it is to be back together in God’s Word! We have set the verse to memory for our new year that our kids would be rooted and firmly established in God’s love and they would be able to “comprehend what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love” Ephesians 3:17-18.  We are gearing up for another great semester in CREEK KIDS Clubhouse! If you are interested in working, please visit our website and look for the CREEK KIDS Clubhouse tab. This will allow you to fill out and submit your application and provide us enough time to process our interviews. We are wanting to employ adults as well as teenagers!
