ABOUT THE MISSION:

Still Water Ministries is a non-profit organization that has a heart for bringing the Gospel to boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 17 and their families. The vehicle Still Water has primarily used to share the Gospel is overnight and day camps across the state of Texas and as the ministry has grown over the last 19 years, it has launched different facets of year-round discipleship. Still Water Ministries purchased a piece of property, Knott Creek Falls, in Harper, TX in 2015. Knott Creek Falls is now its own functioning non-profit organization and is mutually beneficial to Still Water Camps through a long-term contract and also serves other Kingdom-minded organizations. In the last 4 years, they have been so blessed to be able to put over $4 million of infrastructure into the property allowing the property to house roughly 120 people for camps and retreats.

The heart of Still Water Camps is to create a Christ-centered experience that is accessible for kids from ALL backgrounds. In summer 2019, Still Water was able to provide scholarships for 53% of their campers. Each week of camp (10 different overnight sessions throughout the 2019 summer camp season) the intention is to have a mix of kids from different parts of the state, with different social backgrounds and bring them in front of the same God. One of their most fruitful camps is a day camp, “Champ Camp”, that has taken place in Boerne the last 5 years. In summer 2020, they will have three different Boerne Champ Camp sessions with 150 kids from ages 5 to 11 in each. At Boerne Champ Camp, kids are able to have fun through sports and games, and of course, clearly, hear the Gospel! Still Water also strives to build relationship with local churches, schools, and para-church organizations across Texas. Whether it is hosting games at schools or youth groups, or even teaching lessons about the love of Christ, Still Water strives to connect with local ministries across Texas.
