*Family Reunion - formerly known as Family Dinner

Mark your calendars for our "Family Reunion" church celebration (formerly known as Family Dinner) on Sunday, August 26th!  Come join your fellow Currey Creek Church members as we celebrate and highlight what God has done in our church this year. We will enjoy fellowship together, present building updates, introduce elders, renew membership and much more. This event will take place from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center with a dessert social to follow the meeting. Please RSVP at www.curreycreek.com/familyreunion.


*Israel Trip

Registration is open for the 2019 Israel Trip with Pastor John & Darla! The trip is taking place March 6th - 16th, 2019. For information and registration, please go online to http://www.curreycreek.com/israel.


*Sunday Morning Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for a place to serve? We have a spot for you! Come join us in connecting people on Sunday mornings by serving on the coffee team, directing cars on our parking team or seating our congregation as an usher. Please email Kristene at kbrooks@curreycreek.com to get involved.


*Small Group Leader Interest

Have you felt a tug at your heart to start a small group? Have you been involved in small groups and are ready to take the next step into leadership? We would love to set up a meeting with you to discuss our heart for small groups at Currey Creek and how you can begin this fall. For more information, email Jared at jpatrick@curreycreek.com.

*Upstream Worship Orientation

If you are interested in serving in Worship for Upstream or are currently serving, please join us Monday, July 30th from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center as we train and equip you to serve on our Upstream Worship teams for Fall 2018/Spring 2019! Register here. This event is mandatory for all current volunteers, and open to any who are interested in serving!


*Adult Ministries

Our fall Creek Institute classes will start Sunday, September 9th, along with our Small Groups. Our Men's & Women's classes will kick off Wednesday, September 12th. There will be a Thursday evening Women's Bible study as well. We look forward to a great year of growing in our relationship with Jesus. More detailed information coming soon.


*Students

Here are 5 Student Ministry Updates:

(1)Our final Summer Upstream will be tomorrow night from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

(2)UpNext on Sunday mornings will not be meeting July 29th, Aug 5th, & Aug 12th.

(3)Upstream Wednesday Night Fall Kickoff is August 22nd at 6:30 p.m.
(4)UpNext Sunday Morning Kickoff (now 6th grade only)is August 19th at 9:00 a.m.
(5)The Buddy Team Launch (7th-12th grade serve team) is August 19th at both church service times. For more information on any of these updates, please email students@curreycreek.com.

Happy Summer Creek Kids! Here are 4 important announcements for all of our families this summer.(1)Calling all parents!We need youon our team this FALL! (3)Creek Kids Elementary summer breakwill be July 22nd - Aug 12th.

*4KIDS Foster Care training

Currey Creek is excited to host 4KIDS of South Texas Foster Care Agency as they offer training classes for anyone that is interested in becoming a foster/adopt parent. The orientation meeting is Tuesday, August 7th from 6-9 p.m. in the 2 story Creek Kids building. Childcare will be provided for the orientation. To register for this training, email jeng@4kidsofstx.org.

Please join together with the Body of Christ at Currey Creek in praying - Everlasting Father, please encourage and empower us to both sing your praises and tell your deeds among the peoples. Psalm 9:11.


*CREEK KIDS - CREEK COUNTY FAIR

YEE-HAW! It's that time again! Dust off your cowboy boots and get ready for our Annual Creek County Fair this fall on Saturday, October 6th! You won't want to miss one of our best family events by far! Join us in celebrating year 5 with an evening full of food, good ole fashioned fun, and fellowship for all ages!
