CREEK UPDATES

*Family Reunion - formerly known as Family Dinner

You're invited to our "Family Reunion" church celebration (formerly known as Family Dinner) on Sunday, August 26th!  Come join your fellow Currey Creek Church members as we celebrate and highlight what God has done in our church this year. We will enjoy fellowship together, present building updates, introduce elders, renew membership and much more. This event will take place from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center with a dessert social to follow the meeting. Please RSVP by August 23rd at www.curreycreek.com/familyreunion.

*Building Update
Please pick up an information sheet regarding the final children's building update leading up to Family Reunion. They are available at the Connection Desk or by the doors in the Worship Center and in the Chapel. Q&A sessions will be held following the 2nd service this Sunday, August 19th and next Sunday at the front of the Worship Center. If you are a member of Currey Creek and can't attend Family Reunion, please submit your vote prior to the 26th.

*Fall On-Campus Small Groups

New this semester! We are offering on-campus sermon-based small groups on Sunday nights from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.  Small groups start up on September 9th. Each group meets weekly to discuss the biblical text from Sunday's sermon on the book of Philippians. Please visit www.curreycreek.com/small-groups to sign up! Creek Clubhouse childcare will be provided with registration for birth - 5th grade.

*Creek Kids - Back to School Sunday (Promotion Sunday)
Elementary children will promote according to their school grade level for 2018-2019 this Sunday, August 19th. We are looking forward to a wonderful year as we dig deeper in God's Word with our Creek Kids and families. Preschool children will remain in classes as promotion is based on their age.

*Upstream Fall Kickoff

• On Sunday, August 19th our 6th Grade UpNext program will start back up during the 9:00 a.m. service. All 6th graders are welcome to join us for hands-on, interactive discipleship every Sunday morning in the UpNext Student Building.

• Wednesday, August 22nd from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. is our Fall Kickoff for Upstream! High school (9th-12th) will meet in the chapel as always, and Middle School (6th-8th) will meet in the Worship Center. See you there!

*Israel Trip

Registration is open for the 2019 Israel Trip with Pastor John & Darla! The trip is taking place March 6th - 16th, 2019.  For information and registration, please go online to http://www.curreycreek.com/israel.

*Creek Institute

Creek Institute starts Sunday, September 9th. This semester we will offer an 11- week study called "Church History: 2nd Century - Reformation". This class will take place from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. Childcare will be provided with registration. For more information, please visit www.curreycreek.com/creekinstitute.

*Fall Bible Study

Women's bible study will begin on Wednesday mornings and Thursday nights, starting on September 12th and 13th. Women will be studying "Complete in Christ: A Study of Colossians" and men will begin on September 5th and will study "Faith/Works: The Book of James."
