CREEK UPDATES

*Family Reunion - THIS SUNDAY!

It's not too late to RSVP to our "Family Reunion" church celebration (formerly known as Family Dinner) THIS Sunday, August 26th!!!  Come join your fellow Currey Creek Church members as we celebrate and highlight what God has done in our church this year. We will enjoy fellowship together, present building updates, introduce elders, renew membership and much more.  This event will take place from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center with a dessert social to follow the meeting. *Building Update

The last opportunity for questions and answers about the final details of the building project is this Sunday, August 26th, after the 2nd service at the front of the worship center. Details of the project are available at the Connections Desk. We want to hear from you! If you are unable to attend Family Reunion and you are a member, please turn in your vote in any of the giving boxes.

*Fall On-Campus Small Groups

New this semester! We are offering on-campus sermon-based small groups on Sunday nights from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Small groups start up on September 9th. Each group meets weekly to discuss the biblical text from Sunday's sermon on the book of Philippians. Please visit www.curreycreek.com/small-groups to sign up! Creek Clubhouse childcare will be provided with registration for birth - 5th grade.

*Creek Kids

Welcome back CREEK KIDS and families! Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary grades have all started back. Thank you to all our CREEK KIDS volunteers for serving this Fall!  We can't wait and are so excited to dive into the New Testament and study Paul and his journeys with you.

*Students

• 6th Grade UpNext program started last week during the 9:00 a.m. service. All 6th graders are welcome to join us for hands-on, interactive discipleship every Sunday morning in the UpNext Student Building.

• THIS Wednesday, August 22nd from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. is our Fall Kickoff for Upstream!High school (9th-12th) will meet in the chapel as always, and Middle School (6th-8th) will meet in the Worship Center. See you there!

*Creek Institute

Creek Institute starts Sunday, September 9th. This semester we will offer an 11- week study called "Church History: 2nd Century - Reformation". This class will take place from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. Childcare will be provided with registration. For more information, please visit www.curreycreek.com/creekinstitute.

*Fall Bible Study

Women's bible study will begin on Wednesday mornings and Thursday nights, starting on September 12th and 13th. Women will be studying "Complete in Christ: A Study of Colossians" and men will begin on September 5th and will study "Faith/Works: The Book of James."
