CREEK UPDATES

*Women's Vocal Workshop

If you are currently involved in a worship ministry or would like to become involved, we highly encourage you to attend this Women's Vocal Workshop on Saturday, September 29th from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel.  We are blessed to have a large number of women vocalists that range from middle school age to adults in our worship ministry. We want to empower you and help you find your voice! Special guest Andy Garcia will be here to give instruction on vocal technique. If you have any questions, email worship@curreycreek.com.

*Membership Renewal

Renewal cards are due by Sunday, September 30th. Thank you to everyone who renewed your membership. If you missed it, it's not too late! We have membership cards available in the lobby or you can stop by the office and fill one out. All previous members, please fill out these new forms.

*Baptism Sunday

Our next Baptism Sunday is scheduled for NEXT Sunday, September 23rd. If you have an interest in being baptized, please call the church officeat (830)755-8806 to set up an appointment with a pastor.

*Service Opportunity: Ushers

As Currey Creek continues to grow, it is becoming more challenging to find seats each Sunday morning. We are looking for some kind, hospitable and engaging individuals that can serve the body by knowing where our open seats are and walking families to those seats. If this is something that interests you, please email Kristene at kbrooks@curreycreek.com.

*Fall On-Campus Small Groups

We are offering on-campus sermon-based small groups on Sunday nights from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Each group meets weekly to discuss the biblical text from Sunday's sermon on the book of Philippians. Please click here to sign up! Creek Clubhouse childcare will be provided with registration for birth - 5th grade.

*WE NEED YOUR HELP AT CREEK COUNTY FAIR!

Want to join in on the fun and serve the night of the Creek County Fair on Saturday, October 6th from 4-7 p.m.?  Sign up here to be a volunteer! We need your help with face painting, game booths, serving food, and welcoming our families!

*Students

• 6th Grade UpNext program meets during the 9:00 a.m. service. All 6th graders are welcome to join us for hands-on, interactive discipleship every Sunday morning in the UpNext Student Building.

• Upstream is each Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. High school (9th-12th) will meet in the chapel as always, and Middle School (6th-8th) will meet in the Worship Center. See you there!

• Monday morning prayer at 7:00 a.m. Every Monday at 7:00 a.m. in the Chapel, High School students and leaders gather together to encounter the Lord through prayer. Join us as we meet together to hear from God and be transformed by His presence. Parents are welcome to join us.

Please join together with the Body of Christ at Currey Creek in praying - Pray for joy and peace...Romans 15:13. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
