Creek Updates Week of October 15th

CREEK UPDATES


*Parking & Traffic Changes due to new Construction

Here are some important things to know as you navigate the campus in the coming weeks:

  • The driveway that allows traffic to flow from the front of campus (Chapel side) to the back parking lot (Sanctuary side) WILL BE CLOSED until mid-December so that utility and drainage work can be completed. This means that parking will be available at the front of the campus and at the back of the campus, but in order to travel between the two, you must take Cascade Caverns.   • FRONT LOT: Please reserve the front lot on Sunday mornings for families with young children, visitors, and those needing handicap parking. If you are able, we are asking the majority of our church to park in the large back lot, entering from our rear entry off of Cascade Caverns.
  • BACK LOT: The site of construction will be fenced off, but a safe walk zone will be created to allow passage from the back parking lot to the Sanctuary and the front of campus. Thank you for your patience during this phase of construction!

*Students - Middle School Bible Study

A new Bible Study opportunity for 7th & 8th grade Middle School students will be offered Friday mornings from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. starting THIS FRIDAY, October 19th. We are excited to offer breakfast, hear from Logan as he leads us in a brief teaching and then break out into small groups. We hope to provide transportation from the church to their schools! *Creek Kids

Thank you to all our Creek Kid families who donated prescription eye glasses and cases for Reaching Africa's Unreached Mission in Uganda! The last date to send them in is this Sunday, October 21st. Creek Kids will be accepting gifts for the Hill Country Daily Bread Ministry Gift Drive starting October 28th through November 18th! More details coming soon!


*New Small Group for Adoptive/Foster Parents

We are excited to offer a new campus-based small group for Adoptive/Foster parents. This Small Group will be led by the Newcom and Ross families on Sundays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center lobby. *Young Life Banquet

You're invited!!! Come out and join us for an evening of dinner, laughter, and stories of transformed lives. We are excited to share what's been happening in our ministries for middle schoolers, high schoolers, teen moms and students with special needs here in Boerne! *Baptism Sunday

Our next Baptism Sunday is scheduled for THIS Sunday, October 21st. If you have an interest in becoming baptized, please call the church office at (830)755-8806 to set up an appointment with a pastor.

*Prayer Point

There are many things people all around the country are praying for during the month of October. Please join together with the Body of Christ at Currey Creek in praying- For all the abused and neglected family members hidden by guilt or fear, oppressed and terrorized, give them release and challenge us to grace in action.
