CREEK UPDATES

*New to Currey Creek?
You are invited to our Discovery Class on Sunday, November 4th at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Discovery Class (formerly Next Step Lunch) is our 1-hour class introducing anyone to Currey Creek's philosophy of ministry and how to quickly get connected into one of our ministries. If you are brand new and are looking for an introduction to Currey Creek, this class is for you. Please RSVP here to attend.

*Students - Middle School Bible Study
A new Bible Study opportunity for 7th & 8th grade Middle School students is offered Friday mornings from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. We are excited to offer breakfast, hear from Logan as he leads us in a brief teaching and then break out into small groups. *Upstream on October 31st
Middle School and High School Upstream will meet at a special time from 6-7 p.m. on October 31st. There will be food, worship and games but no small groups next week! Please note Upstream will just be 1 hour that week!

*Creek Kids Toy Drive
Last year Creek Kids teamed with Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries to provide over 250 Christmas gifts for children in our surrounding area. Let's be a blessing again! *New Small Group for Adoptive/Foster Parents
We are excited to offer a new campus-based small group for Adoptive/Foster parents. This Small Group will be led by the Newcom and Ross families on Sundays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center lobby. *Prayer Point
There are many things people all around the country are praying for during the month of October. Please join together with the Body of Christ at Currey Creek in praying- Lord, for those losing their vision give them strength and coping strategies if not outright healing; and for those of us blessed with good vision give us compassion and hearts of service.

*Serve the Homeless
Taking it to the Streets ministers to our homeless community in downtown San Antonio by serving a warm meal and the love of Christ every Saturday night. Come be a part of restoring dignity and community to our friends in need as we fellowship together. You can also gather your friends, family or small group and sign up to organize and provide a meal. *Parking & Traffic Changes due to new Construction
Here are some important things to know as you navigate the campus in the coming weeks:

·The driveway that allows traffic to flow from the front of campus (Chapel side) to the back parking lot (Sanctuary side) WILL BE CLOSED until mid-December so that utility and drainage work can be completed. This means that parking will be available at the front of the campus and at the back of the campus, but in order to travel between the two, you must take Cascade Caverns. ·FRONT LOT: Please reserve the front lot on Sunday mornings for families with young children, visitors, and those needing handicap parking. If you are able, we are asking the majority of our church to park in the large back lot, entering from our rear entry off of Cascade Caverns.
·BACK LOT: The site of construction will be fenced off, but a safe walk zone will be created to allow passage from the back parking lot to the Sanctuary and the front of campus. Thank you for your patience during this phase of construction!
