CREEK UPDATES
*Foundations Class - Membership
Foundations is a 1-hour class that serves as our membership process at Currey Creek that is offered once a semester. This will be offered THIS Sunday, January 27th at 12:00 p.m. in the Two Story Building. This class takes us beyond Currey Creek's philosophy of ministry (Discovery Class) and into deeper issues involving salvation, baptism, statement of faith and church structure. *Women's Spring Bible Study
Women's Bible Study kicked off last week. It's not too late to sign up! They meet Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am or Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8pm. The topic will be "Amazing Grace: A Study of Judges" for the first eight weeks, then beginning on April 3rd, the study will be "Growing a Grateful Heart." *Student Updates:
·Buddy Team Appreciation & Spring Training
We are ready to kick off another semester of Buddy Team and we want to celebrate you! We are asking all current buddies to join us after the 2nd service THIS Sunday, January 27th in the Student Building for a pizza party celebration and spring training session. We will go over a few things for the upcoming semester, introduce some new Buddies to the team, and play some games and hang out. This will occur while the adults that serve in Creek Kids are attending their training. Please take a moment to register here to have an accurate count for food.
·Disciple Now Weekend
February 8-10th is our Disciple Now Weekend! Every year we partner with FBC Boerne and our middle school and high school students gather for a weekend of teaching, worship, and community service while staying in host homes each night where they will have small group discussion. Our theme this year is how God is "Relentless" in his pursuit of us. For more information and to sign up your student please click here.
·Student Ministry Summer Events
Registration is open for Middle School Camp Winiwaca and High School River Retreat. Spots are filling up quickly! You can find out more and register your student at curreycreek.com/summer.
*Middle School Bible Study
A Bible Study opportunity for 7th & 8th grade Middle School students will be offered Friday mornings from 7:00-8:00am. We are excited to offer breakfast, hear from Logan as he leads us in a brief teaching and then break out into small groups. We hope to provide transportation from the church to their schools! *Creek Kids Updates:
·We would LOVE to have you join our team volunteering in Creek Kids on Sunday mornings! We are also hiring workers in our Creek Clubhouse ministry on Sunday evenings from 4:15-6:15pm as well as Wednesday mornings from 9:15-11:15am. If you are interested, please email Jenny at jfeatherston@curreycreek.com.
·Volunteer Training
If you are new to Creek Kids or have an interest in serving, please join us THIS SUNDAY, January 27th after the 2nd service for this Volunteer Training! This includes all current and new volunteers. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Please register at curreycreek.com/kidsvolunteers by January 24th.
·Baby Dedication
Save the date for our Baby Dedication on Sunday, February 24th during the 10:30am service! This service is for families with babies and young children who desire to dedicate their children to the Lord and present them to the congregation for blessing and support. Please register your child at curreycreek.com/kidsevents no later than February 19th. We can't wait to pray for you and your precious ones!
