CREEK UPDATES


*New to Currey Creek?

You are invited to our Discovery Class on Sunday, March 24th at 12:00pm in the Chapel. Discovery Class (formerly Next Step Lunch) is our 1-hour class introducing anyone to Currey Creek's philosophy of ministry and how to quickly get connected into one of our ministries. If you are brand new and are looking for an introduction to Currey Creek, this class is for you. Please RSVP to curreycreek.com/discovery to attend.


*Foster/Adopt Parent's Night Out

Currey Creek is hosting a Parent's Night Out for Foster/Adopt Families in our community on Sunday, March 24th, from 4:30-7:30pm. If you are interested in enjoying this free night out, please register here. We are also looking for our church family to serve our foster/adopt community by volunteering to minister to the children during the Parent's Night Out. If you are interested in helping, please email Leah Hollinshead at 4leah2read@gmail.com.


*Spring Break Schedule

  • There will be NO Elementary, Creek Institute, Small Groups, or UpNext on March 10th & 17th. Only Nursery and Preschool will be offered.
  • There will be NO Men's & Women's Bible Studies, or Upstream on Wednesday, March 13th.


*Creek Kids Updates

  • Mark your calendars for some good ol' fashioned family fun! Creek Kids Family Picnic is Saturday, March 30th at Joshua Springs Park from 4-6pm. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided! Please bring a dish or two to share, bring your family and get ready for an afternoon of fun and fellowship with your Currey Creek Family. Register at curreycreek.com/kidsevents.
  • We have such a great team of volunteers in our Creek Kids Ministry! We would love for you to join us and serve with them! We have opportunities in nursery and preschool to spend with our little ones. To volunteer go to curreycreek.com/volunteers and fill out an application. If you have any questions, email Sara at sara@curreycreek.com.
  • There will be NO Elementary March 10th or 17th for Spring Break. Nursery and Preschool will be offered.

*Student Ministry

  • We are having a fantastic semester with our middle school students in Upnext on Sunday Mornings, Friday Morning Bible Study, and Upstream on Wednesday nights! For Spring Break, we will be off March 10th. Upstream will resume on March 20th, Friday Morning Bible Study on March 22nd, and UpNext on March 24th. We hope you have a wonderful break!
  • Registration is open for Middle School Camp Winiwaca, June 26th-30th, and High School River Retreat, June 2nd-5th. Spots are filling up quickly! You can find out more and register your student at curreycreek.com/summer.


*Save the Date: "Women in the Word" on April 27th!

Join us this spring for Creek Women's 2019 conference "Women in the Word" on Saturday, April 27th and discover God's transforming truth by learning to dig into the Bible for yourself. You don't have to be a scholar to study, understand and apply God's Word to your life. You just have to start digging to uncover those priceless truths waiting for you in the pages of Scripture. And we'll give you the simple tools and techniques you need to dive right in and go deeper. With your Bible before you and other women beside you, together we will seek God in His book.
