CREEK UPDATES


*Easter Service & Baptism

Our annual Easter service "Church on the Square" will take place on Sunday, April 21st at 9:30am at Main Plaza. Please come at 9:00am for fellowship & coffee. If you are interested in an Easter baptism at this time, please email Jared at jared@curreycreek.com. We look forward to celebrating our Risen Savior with you!


*Good Friday Services

On Good Friday, April 19th at 5:00pm and 6:30pm, we will gather in the Worship Center to prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday. We will spend the evening reflecting on the Passion story, encountering the cross of Christ and His suffering on our behalf. Bring the entire family that we might be ready to fully celebrate His glorious resurrection! Nursery and Preschool childcare provided during the 5:00pm service only.


*New to Currey Creek?

New to Currey Creek? You are invited to our Discovery Class on Sunday, April 28th at 12:00pm in the Chapel. Discovery Class (formerly Next Step Lunch) is our 1-hour class introducing anyone to Currey Creek's philosophy of ministry and how to quickly get connected into one of our ministries. If you are brand new and are looking for an introduction to Currey Creek, this class is for you. Please register at curreycreek.com/discovery to attend.


*Senior Sunday

Calling all High School Seniors! Sunday, May 5th during the 10:30am service, we have planned a time to honor your graduate. We will have a slide show of all the graduates, a special time of prayer, and the presentation of a gift. If you would like your senior to be a part of this special event, please be sure to register here no later than Tuesday, April 30th.


*Creek Kids Updates

  • Come and join our Creek Kids team this spring and summer as our volunteers will have the opportunity to disciple our children as we study The Fruit of the Spirit, Heroes of the Faith, and the Armor of God. We would love to have you fill some spots we have opening up in Nursery, Preschool and Elementary. Please email us and let us know you want to join in at kids@curreycreek.com .
  • Palm Sunday: Creek Kids will each receive a palm branch to take home this Sunday, April 14th. "Hosanna! He who comes in the name of the Lord, is the Blessed One!"  


*High School Summer Camp

We are so excited for our brand new High School River Retreat this Summer at Knott Creek Falls! *Women in the Word Conference on April 27th!

Join us this spring for Creek Women's 2019 conference Women in the Word on Saturday, April 27th and discover God's transforming truth by learning to dig into the Bible for yourself. We'll give you the simple tools and techniques you need to dive right in and go deeper. With your Bible before you and other women beside you, together we will seek God in His book. *Creek Kids - Illuminate

Mark your calendars for Illuminate, our END-OF-THE-YEAR celebration!!! We will have popsicles, games, glow-in-the-dark praise and worship and a special treat for the 5th graders! This event will be Friday evening, May 17th at Currey Creek Church from 6:30pm-8:00pm for our elementary families. To RSVP your family go to www.curreycreek.com/kidsevents.
