CREEK UPDATES

*Middle School Updates:

  • Middle School Camp Parent Meeting - If your middle school student is attending Camp Winiwaca this summer, we invite you to a brief Parent Meeting THIS Wednesday, May 8th. We will go over details for camp and give you an opportunity to ask questions. This meeting will be held in the Student Building from 6:00-6:30pm. (Middle School Parents Night will follow right after in the Worship Center).
  • Middle School Parent's Night - Come join us for a Middle School Parent's Night at Upstream on Wednesday, May 8th, 6:30-8:30pm! We will share some of the things we have been learning this year, and Pastor John Free and his wife Darla will lead our families in a study of the scriptures. We look forward to seeing you and your students there.
  • Middle School Upstream End of the Year Party - Come celebrate at our Middle School Upstream End of the Year party on Wednesday, May 15th, 6:30-8 pm! There will be food, water games, prizes and more! We can't wait to see you there.


*Illuminate

Mark your calendars for Illuminate, our END-OF-THE-YEAR celebration!!! We will have popsicles, games, glow-in-the-dark praise and worship and a special treat for the 5th graders! This event will be Friday evening, May 17th at Currey Creek Church from 6:30-8:00pm for our elementary families. To RSVP your family, please click here. Fun neon colored t-shirts will be available to purchase online.


*Baptism Sunday

Our next Baptism Sunday is May19th. If you have an interest in getting baptized, please call the church office at (830)755-8806 to set up an appointment with a pastor.


*Interested in Joining a Small Group?

Would you like to grow in discipleship? Small groups are the primary place where we get to live life together, implement care, prayer, and Bible study with others at Currey Creek! Please contact Linda, our Small Group Coordinator, at linda@curreycreek.com or call her at (830)431-9280 to get plugged into a small group or for more information.


*High School Updates:

  • Poland Mission Trip Fundraiser - We are taking a group of high school students this summer to Wroclaw, Poland to put on an evangelistic summer camp for Polish students. You can help these students raise the funds for their trip. Donations are greatly appreciated! Here are 2 ways to support them: (1)Car Wash - Come out and support our students going to Poland THIS Saturday, May 11th from 9am-2pm. We will have a car wash in the parking lot across the street from Wendy's next to Cryofit. (2)Raising Cane's - bring your family to Cane's on Tuesday, May 14th from 5-9pm. Cane's will be donating 15% of the proceeds to our team! Please mention the Poland Mission trip when you order. We appreciate your support.
  • High School Summer Camp - We are so excited for our brand new High School River Retreat this summer at Knott Creek Falls! Sign up to join us at this gorgeous camp with a pristine half-mile long river, fantastic food, games, tournaments, chill time, and more. *Creek Kids 

Come and join our Creek Kids team this spring and summer as our volunteers will have the opportunity to disciple our children as we study The Fruit of the Spirit, Heroes of the Faith, and the Armor of God. We would love to have you fill some spots we have available in Nursery, Preschool and Elementary. Please email us at kids@curreycreek.com and let us know you want to join in!


*Summer Bible Study for Students

Interested in keeping your students in Bible study this summer? We are offering an in-depth Bible study for incoming 7th through 12th graders. We will meet on Sundays in the Chapel, June 9th through July 28th, from 6:00-7:15pm.
