CREEK UPDATES


*Creek Kids

  • Our nursery population is growing at Currey Creek! This summer, we are looking for new nursery volunteers who can serve for 1 hour once a month, especially during the 10:30am service. You will enjoy your time with these little ones and serve their parents as you care for their children. Please consider joining our nursery team, we need you! Email Sara Williams at sara@curreycreek.com for more information or to volunteer. Thank you!
  • Creek Kids is collecting a Love Offering during the month of June to support children at the King of Kings Church in Nicaragua.Your children will receive offering boxes. Please remember to return them on June 30th. Please be praying with your child for our church partners in Nicaragua.

*Students Summer Camps

Please be in prayer for our middle school and high school students as they prepare to go to River Retreat (June 2nd-5th) and Camp Winiwaca (June 26th-30th) this summer! Pray that God would increase our student's love for Christ, increase their worship as we seek to exalt God, and equip our students to engage the culture around them.


*Dienger Fundraiser - June 11th (Support our Students)

We are taking a group of high school students this summer to Wroclaw, Poland to put on an evangelistic summer camp for Polish students. You can help these students raise the funds for their trip by eating at the Dienger on Tuesday, June 11th anytime that day. Please mention that you are there to support Currey Creek Church when you order and they will donate 15% of their proceeds to help these students fund their mission trip. Thank you for your support!


*Summer Bible Study for Students

Interested in keeping your students in Bible study this summer? We are offering an in-depth Bible study for incoming 7th through 12th graders. We will meet on Sundays in the Chapel, June 9th through July 28th, from 6:00-7:15pm.


*Creek Kids & Students Upcoming Dates:

·June 30th - last day of Creek Kids Elementary & 5th Grade Blessing

·June 30th - August 11th - Creek Kids Elementary Summer Break

·Saturday, August 17th - Kinder Blessing at 10am

·August 18th - Promotion Sunday for Elementary & Students

·September 21st - Creek County Fair from 4-7pm


*Adult Ministries

Our fall Creek Institute classes will begin on Sunday, September 8th, along with our Small Groups. Our Men's and Women's Bible Studies will kick off on Wednesday, September 11th. We look forward to a great year of growing in our relationship with Jesus.


*Hill Country Daily Bread

Hill Country Daily Bread is currently in need of some items for the families that we serve. See below if you would like to purchase one or more of these items and please bring them back by THIS Sunday, June 2nd to the Creek Connections desk.

- Spring and summer boys & girls (kids) barely used or new shoes

- Spring and summer plus sizes - XL and above
