Creek Updates - Week of November 25th
*Advent Worship and Prayer Night this Sunday
Kickoff the Advent season with a Worship and Prayer Night this Sunday, December 1st from 4:30-6pm. We look forward to a time of setting our minds and hearts on the reason for the season. To register for childcare for this event, please click HERE.
*Advent Devotional
Starting this Sunday, Advent devotional booklets will be available for your personal reflection and family time this season. This devotional will walk you through the 4 weeks of preparation for Christ's coming. Each week will have individual daily Scripture readings and a fun activity you can do with your kids to reinforce the importance of this season. Devotionals will be available at the Connections Desk.
*Thanksgiving Turkey Fry - Men Needed!
We welcome all men tomorrow, November 27th, 7:00am at the Kendall County Fairgrounds, as Currey Creek's men join together with other local churches to provide a Thanksgiving meal to over 300 local families in need. We'll see you at the Fairgrounds bright and early. Bring your gas tank and fryer - we'll have the oil and turkeys! If you don't have a fryer, don't worry just come on out and serve with us!
*Drive In Movie Night
Join us for an awesome night of family fun! Bring your lawn chairs, quilts and kids in PJ's to our back parking lot on Friday, December 6th at 6:30pm. We will be watching The Grinch and serving popcorn and hot chocolate! We will have a donation box for you to be able to give a pair of new children's PJ's to the Vault Fostering Community. Let's help them give new PJ's to families who need them for their newly placed foster children.
*Usher Team Training
We will be having an Usher Team training for all Ushers this Sunday, December 1st. If you are a current usher or would like to be an usher, please register HERE. Please meet us in the Worship Center lobby right after the second service and lunch will be provided. Please register by end of today!
*Greeter Team Training
If you are a current Greeter or would like to be a Greeter, please join us for a Greeter Team training on Sunday, December 8th right after the second service. Lunch and childcare will be provided. We are getting so excited about the new Children's Building and this will be a great opportunity to see the new spaces. Please register HERE by December 3rd.
*No Upstream - Thanksgiving Break
There will be no Wednesday Night Upstream for Middle School and High School students on the 27th. Happy Thanksgiving!
*Our offices will be closed Wednesday November 27th through Friday the 29th in observance of Thanksgiving. Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family!
