Creek Updates - Week of January 6th
*Summer Missions Trip Meeting
Join us this Sunday, January 12th in the upstairs elementary chapel area for an interest meeting on our upcoming summer missions' trips! Following a general informational session, we'll provide breakouts where the individual trip leaders for Nicaragua, High School Missions Trip to North Carolina, H.S. Poland Missions Trip, Nepal, and medical missions to Uganda will share more information, answer questions, provide applications, and inform you of any deadlines or next steps required. We look forward to meeting with you this Sunday to share what God has in store this year for missions!
*Creek Kids
Our Creek Kids classes will resume this Sunday, January 12th in our new spaces! Nursery area is for 0-24 months, Creek Kids Early Childhood will be 2's, 3's, 4's, Pre-K 5's and Kinder in the downstairs area. Upstairs will be Creek Kids Elementary, 1st- 5th grade. Check-in nametag stations will be in various places around the building for quicker check-in.
*Upstream Kickoff
Join us tomorrow Wednesday, January 8th for our 2020 Upstream Kickoff! We are blessed to have Louis Phillips of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries speaking on the topic of human sexuality. We will be combining middle and high school together in the Worship Center, and would love for parents and families to join us as well. See you at 6:30pm for hamburgers and hotdogs. The presentation will begin at 7:00pm and all are invited to attend!
Upstream AM will resume this Sunday, January 12th at the 9am service for 6th-8th grade. We will meet upstairs in the new building in our new Upstream area.
*Creek Kids Volunteer Training
Save the date for our January 26th Volunteer Training! After the second service, Creek Kids will hold a very important safety training for all adult volunteers and Buddy Team members. Please make plans to attend to find out important procedures to keep our children safe in our new spaces. Lunch and childcare will be provided with registration. Registration opens on January 12th. We look forward to gathering together with our wonderful volunteers!
*Baby Dedication
Currey Creek has set aside Sunday, February 23rd for families with babies and young children who desire to dedicate their children to the Lord and present them to the congregation for support and blessing. Registration will open soon!
*Discovery Class-February 2nd
Discovery is a 1- hour class introducing anyone to Currey Creek's philosophy of ministry and how to quickly get connected into one of our ministries this spring. Hear from our pastoral staff and ministry department heads on ways you can get plugged into Currey Creek! If you are brand new and looking for an introduction to Currey Creek, this class is for you! Lunch will be provided with an RSVP at curreycreek.com/discovery.
