Creek Updates - Week of March 9th
*Spring Break - Elementary Creek Kids/Upstream
Please note we will not offer Elementary Creek Kids or Upstream on Sunday, March 15th. This will include the Kinder class as well. Creek Babies and Preschool will be available during these dates. Upstream Wednesday Night will not meet on March 11th.
*Creek Kids Family Picnic
Get ready to join your Currey Creek Family at Joshua Springs Park and Preserve for Creek Kids Annual Family Picnic on Saturday, March 28th! Creek Kids will be cooking up hot dogs for everyone. Please bring a favorite dish to share, lawn chairs, fishing poles, sports equipment and whatever else you would like to add for an afternoon of family fun. Picnic will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm and we plan to eat around 5:00pm. No RSVP needed, we can't wait to spend an afternoon with you!
*Creek Kids Volunteers
Creek Kids has an urgent need for more teachers/helpers in the 2 year old classroom both hours, but specifically at the 10:30 hour. It's so fun to play with these little ones and share stories of truth from God's Word...would you consider joining our 2's team? *Worship and Prayer Night - April 5th
Join us on Palm Sunday, April 5th at 4:30pm for our Easter season Worship and Prayer Night. This will be a night of reflection and praise as we glorify God by remembering his death and resurrection.
*Good Friday Service - April 10th
Join us Friday, April 10th for our Good Friday Service at Currey Creek, designed to help us consider the gravity of our sin and the glory of the cross. Come reflect on Jesus' death and burial, as we anticipate the celebration of the Resurrection. Services are at 5:00pm and 6:30pm, Creek Kids will be offered for pre-K 5's - birth at the 5:00pm service.
*Easter: Church on the Square - April 12th
Come celebrate the reality of Jesus' victory over death and the grave as we worship, open God's Word, and celebrate baptisms at Boerne's Main Plaza! This will be a great morning for the entire family in the center of our town square.
*Church on the Square Baptisms
We will have Church on the Square baptisms on April 12th on Main Plaza! If you have an interest in getting baptized, please call the church office at (830)755-8806 to set up an appointment with a pastor today.
*Lift Ministry
Creek Kids Lift is Currey Creek's new inclusive ministry for elementary age students of all abilities. Lift means to bring encouragement which is the heartbeat of this ministry. Creek Kids Lift exists to make sure all families feel welcome and all children can learn about God in a way that is meaningful to them.
Our desire is to welcome and accommodate families with children of all needs. We work with each family individually to serve their child and teach them about the love of God in a safe, loving environment. Maybe this looks like small accommodations for your child during their grade level Bible class and children's chapel, a trained one-on-one friend to help your child during Bible class, or our Lift classroom designed especially for our friends who prefer a quieter space to worship and learn about God.
If you are interested in Creek Kids Lift services for your child, please fill out this form. Once received, a member of the Lift team will reach out to you to learn what makes your child beautifully unique and the ways that our team can make coming to church a blessing to them - and you!
Creek Kids Lift ministry is currently available weekly during the 9:00am service.

*Foster Adopt Parent's Night Out
FAPNO is Sunday, April 5th from 4:30-7:30pm at Currey Creek. Additional volunteers are needed to serve the families who will be dropping their kids off. To volunteer, please email kellis@curreycreek.com.

*Going Beyond Simulcast with Priscilla Shirer
Priscilla Shirer at Going Beyond says, "Stop frantically searching for God's will. Start frantically searching for God himself. You will experience whole-hearted teaching to inspire and challenge you to step into God's plan for your life. Are you ready?" The Going Beyond simulcast will be on Saturday, May 2nd from 8:30-4pm at Messiah Lutheran Church. Early registration is $15 and ends on March 31st. A boxed lunch is provided with registration.
