ABOUT THE MISSION:
Iglesia Bautista Emanuel is a local church serving a Hispanic community in Boerne. Many in the community struggle with basic needs, such as food and clothing. The church offers Sunday morning worship, Sunday school, Wednesday night youth and summer programs. Iglesia Bautista Emanuel ministers to their adult congregation in Spanish, but has a growing number of youth who only speak English.
Currey Creek is partnering with the church to help them reach youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church needs volunteers to teach youth in English on Sunday mornings, as well as mentors to build relationships, encourage, support and further discipleship with the youth. There are also opportunities for youth camp sponsorship in the summer.
